Crankdat’s newest single “Move Back” with Savage is a surefire festival anthem

crank is one of the few producers who truly never fails. His latest track “Move Back” with Savage is reminiscent of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike vs. W&W’s festival hit “Crowd Control”, at least as far as the instructions to the crowd are concerned. Beyond that, it’s a devastating bass house banger.

“The demo for this song was originally called ‘Ride the Bull,’ because to me it sounded like Spanish Mariachi Matador stuff. I’ve loved ‘Swing’ and ‘Freaks’ for a long time, so I wanted to absolutely work with Savage.- Crankdat

Not sure it has the makings of a proper festival anthem, the voice prompts are also catchy as hell, simple as they are. After his sets, you will sing “to the left! To the left! To the right! Right!” just because it’s so much fun. You’ve probably heard him perform on many of his sets over the past few months.

This month will see crank close its first headline in three years, ‘Return of the Crank‘, hit over 28 cities and sold out shows, including its home state stop at Skully’s Music-Diner in Columbus, OH. Last year he opened for Steve Aoki at Amnesia, performed to packed crowds at Avalon in Los Angeles and made his Tomorrowland debut. In 2023, he will debut at Ultra Music Festival in Miami, return to Tomorrowland, perform at Project GLOW Festival in DC, and announce other live performances.
