DOBé Releases A Powerful Remix For Grammy Award Winning Song “Baraye”

DOBE has teamed up with a plethora of other artists on a human rights project that supports the fight against oppression in Iran. Together they bring ‘The Remixes For The People Of Iran’, on the 7Rituals label, with all proceeds going to the “Woman, Life, Freedom” Foundation.

DOBé took its production expertise and gave the powerful song “Baraye”, written and produced by Iranian singer-songwriter Shervin Hajipour, inspired by the death of Mahsa Amini in a focused and poignant yet anthemic remix.

The original song was released on September 28, 2022, “Baraye” led to Hajipour’s arrest the next day. Hajipour was released on bail on October 4, following an outpouring of international support and big names sharing Hajpour’s message on their social media accounts and Coldplay playing the track at their live concert in Buenos Aires. earlier this year. “Baraye” went on to win the Grammy Award for Best Song for Social Change.

DOBé’s remix was created to help support the protest and the message of incredibly brave women in Iran and all people around the world fighting for women’s rights and freedom. Listen to “Baraye – DOBé Remix” below.
