Very little except perhaps the return of daft-punk on stage will never be able to rival what we saw last night at Coachella. In a simply amazing turn of events, Four Tet x Fred again.. x Skrillexaka Pangbourne House Mafia, ended up closing the festival on the main stage after a blink-182 set following the withdrawal of last week’s headliner Frank Ocean.
From start to finish, the three were determined to have as much fun as possible and let their energy flow from fan to fan in the crowd, creating an infectious wave of mood and spirit.
We heard “Ratata” about 3 times? And Four Tet released “COUNTRY RIDDIM” by HOL! a superb four times throughout the set. We can only imagine what the crowd that wasn’t into the joke was thinking each time.
