Insomniac announces 30th anniversary plans throughout 2023

Pasquale Rotella, Founder and CEO of Insomniac, announced the launch of the company’s 30th anniversary celebrations in a video highlighting three decades of peace, love, unity and respect – the foundation of the global group Entertainment. The video highlights Rotella’s day one goal of bringing back the incredible experiences and feelings of the underground rave scene of yesteryear to the booming and ever-changing festival culture of today. Last year, Los Angeles-based Insomniac produced more than 40 festivals, 200 concerts and 1,500 club nights. The 40 festivals alone generated more than a billion dollars in economic spinoffs.

“Over the years I’ve had ideas of what might be possible, but I could never have imagined what has become a reality today for Insomniac and the culture I love so much,” said Rotella in the new video. “Everyone on this planet needs something to believe in. Our principles of peace, love, unity and respect are the foundations upon which our home is built and why our scene continues to grow. We have spent 30 years together and I’m so excited about what the next 30 years have in store for us. It really feels like we’re just getting started. It’s all because of you.

To celebrate the 30th anniversary, Insomniac is releasing “Anniversary Lane” – an all-new immersive activation at this weekend’s Beyond Wonderland festival in San Bernardino, CA. The interactive zone will showcase iconic artists from the retrospective and provide festival-goers with an Insomniac branded photo opportunity. One of the highlights of the activation will be two eighty-foot-long video walls where fans can strut down the center and be immersed in a video collage of footage from the past three decades, including fan videos and voiceovers promoting the positive message that “All Are Welcome Here” to the rave community. “Anniversary Lane” will be featured at all Insomniac festivals throughout 2023, including EDC Las Vegas, HARD Summer, Escape Halloween, EDC Orlando , and more.
