For those who don’t remember, Hotel Garuda was a project consisting of Chris Gavino, Manila Guildand Aseem Mangaokar, or Candle Weather. The two parted ways in 2018, with Chris continuing his Manila Killa project while Aseem assumed full control of Hotel Garuda, leaving Candle Weather behind.
Now the two have reunited on an exciting new project as CHROME BODY with their debut remix out now, taking Nelly Furtado’s classic “Say It Right.”
The remix takes on a late 90s/early 2000s energy with a super bouncy beat and catchy synths and melodies. It’s nostalgic yet incredibly sincere as a look back at the sounds of classical dance music.
“Over the past seven months, we’ve reworked a lot of music together,” the two say. “This time it’s different. We are so, so excited to share all of this with you. We know you wanted it as much as we did. CHROMEBODIES is here to stay.
