Nostalgia makes its triumphant return to Tchami Confession label with his latest single, “To move back.” “Step Back” sees the versatile producer and performer experiment with a G-house. The rhythm and bass allow the sassy raps of Nostalgix to come to the forefront of the track.
“’Step Back’ is one of the most sassy records I’ve ever made. I really wanted to embody the badass energy; that you can do what you want and get what you want. says Nostalgia. “When I was writing the song, I was going through a period in my life where I had a bunch of people giving me feedback and telling me what to do with my life and my career. And I was super into it. I wanted just make myself and be true to myself. So to me, this record is really the embodiment of ‘yo, there really are no rules. I’m gonna make myself, and that’s all I’ll do .
