Upon the release of his first album, Seven Lions releases a special VIP version of its cult classic collaboration with kill the noise“The Blood,” from 2019. The haunting track delves into three distinct drops of heart-pounding psytrance, jaw-dropping dubstep, and elements of techno.
For the VIP, Shadow Cliq was brought in to add an epic rock guitar solo to amp up the original, while each drop is switched up, either to be made more intense or to completely alter the flow of the track. The last minute or so amps up the original’s suspense with a more cinematic feel, too, approaching an epic climax as the psytrance kicks in again.
