The chemical brothers are back with their new experience of mixing psych rock and electro with “No Reason” and another incredibly mind-blowing music video.
The culmination of the Grammy-winning band’s recent gigs and DJ sets, “No Reason” is unmistakable and irresistible, built from a cascading melody, heavy acid riff and drum roll. claire banging like a military tattoo. The track is accompanied by a surreal ‘Neon Marching Band’ video directed by longtime collaborators Smith and Lyall and choreographed and performed by Gecko Theater that will be familiar to anyone who has seen one of the band’s incredible festival appearances. 2022.
“No Reason” is the first new music released by The Chemical Brothers since 2021’s “The Darkness That You Fear.” The band are currently working on the sequel to the highly acclaimed 2019 album. No geography.
